OUR FOUNDER

As the visionary behind IndigenousZA, Emily Makuka (Kuks) Mogashoa embodies creativity and perseverance in the arts. With a passion for storytelling and production, Kuks has been instrumental in shaping the company's trajectory since its inception.

Her journey began with an old high school production, where she realised their skills and passion in African dance practices.

Driven by a relentless pursuit of excellence, Kuks founded IndigenousZA with the vision of nurturing it, and elevating it to the world stage.

As the production continues to grow, Kuks remains dedicated to pushing the boundaries of turning ideas into reality and empowering others to chase their passions, through the odds.
